What is Charcuterie?

Charcuterie is arranging incredible meats, cheese, fruits, nuts, chocolates, jams and other delights in a beautiful display. Smorgasboard prides itself on creating interesting charcuterie boards which are both beautiful to look at and wonderful to eat!

How are my boards delivered?

All boards, regardless of pick up or delivery, are wrapped in cellophane and then placed in a cardboard box along with a separate box of bread and crackers. Cutlery, such as bamboo spoons and tongs are included on the board and if requested, plates and napkins are included in the box as well.

I don’t see bread or crackers on the board. Do you supply them?

Yes, we do! We think it’s important that bread and crackers are kept separate from the charcuterie board since bread and crackers are not meant to be refrigerated. That’s why we keep them separate and keep the board solely for those items that should be kept refrigerated.

Should I refrigerate my board?

Yes, once you have your boards delivered or you pick them up from us, you should refrigerate your board if you aren’t going to enjoy it immediately.

Should I let my board sit out before serving?

Yes, about an hour before serving, take your board out of its cellophane wrapper and let it sit at room temperature.

How many days in advance do I need to order?

If you’re ordering your charcuterie board from St. Petersburg FL, we require a 2-day lead time. If you’re ordering your charcuterie board from Fayetteville AR, we require a 1-day lead time.

Can I make a special request for my board?

We accommodate requests as much as possible. For example, if you can’t have nuts on your board, we’ll replace them with another ingredient. Please make sure to note that in the Special Instructions box when you order.

My board doesn’t look exactly like the picture.

We substitute items from time to time based on seasonality and availability of items. We do our best to provide you with the board you saw in the photos, but from time to time, we find that some items are either unavailable or because of seasonality, we’re able to procure a wonderful fruit for example that we want to make sure we share with our customers.

Are your boards gluten free?

Most of the items on our boards are gluten free, but not all items are! Some chocolates can contain gluten, and our bread and crackers contain gluten as well.

Do you have pork free boards?

All of our boards contain pork, but if you would like for us to create a customized cheese board for you, we’ll be happy to! Prices will vary, please contact us to discuss.

Where do you operate from?

We have two locations. One is in St. Petersburg, FL, where we operate from Foodie Labs at 515 22nd St S., Suite 130, St. Petersburg, FL 33712. In Fayetteville, AR, we operate from Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza at 3932 N. Steel Blvd, Fayetteville AR 72703. If you are going to pick up your board, you can pick them up from those addresses respectively.
